Margo Couldrey

Margo is a former senior executive in the Australian National Training Authority (ANTA). She has had executive leadership experience across diverse policy areas including managing Commonwealth/State relations, working with national committees to achieve policy reforms in the vocational education and training (VET) system and 10 years in the administration of human rights and anti-discrimination law.

Margo is a policy analyst and facilitator who specialises in national and state policy evaluations, developing and implementing regulatory reform, and stakeholder engagement and consultation. She has a reputation for being able to negotiate outcomes in a complex and diverse stakeholder environment. She has had significant experience advising on training system policy and practice, and strategies to lift workforce productivity and participation and investment in skills. Much of her current work occurs at the interface between the Commonwealth, States and Territories and industry.

Margo is also recognised for her expertise in strategic planning, assisting organisations to clarify their plans and objectives and she advises on good governance and strategies for effectively leading and managing organisational change.
