Peter Skippington

Peter has enjoyed successful careers in teaching, researching, policy development, public affairs, and technology management.  The focus of much of his work has been on encouraging innovation through the application of technologies, and promoting equitable access to education and training products and services.  In recent years Peter has pursued a research interest in community capacity building, especially in rural and remote communities.  After completing a PhD in this area, he has conducted projects that have evaluated and/or developed community renewal strategies and has published a book and several scholarly articles on community resilience and regeneration.
